Who can tell me what i can do with the OOPS schematic options.
Is it just a schematic view to select an object or is it possible to do more with it?
Kind regards,
Scotch

right now just select.
who knows what the future will bring?
it is really useful if you want to select objects regardless of their positions
say you have an empty you want to select that is close to a number of other objects, some you want selected, some you don’t. It is a lot easier to select in the oops schematic because the location of the object there doesn’t mean anything
some things can be deleted in the oops window, but at the moment I can’t remember what or why you would need to.
Not very obvious usefulness in a simple scene, but once you get into complex animations with objects linked between scenes and even .blends then all the buttons at the bottom could keep you sane.

It would be nice when you could connect objects, material and textures with it. Just draw a line from the one to the other lik in the game engine.
Maybe in the future…
