I feel very noob by asking this question, how do you open a blender model file with textures already applied? I’ve downloaded a lesson file from Digital Tutor, which has models, textures and sounds files. But the textures have missing link when I open the model feel. Relinking the path didn’t help. Does blender files have a special setup to be opened with applied textures?

If the data is packed correctly in the .blend file it should pick them up when you open the file. You should complain to Digital Tutor telling them to fix their mistakes. If you paid for a tutorial you should expect nothing less than any supplied files working correctly.
Thank you for the tip, Digital Tutor packed the models and textures in their own folders. Everything works fine after I put the textures and model file in the same folder. I should have tried that before posting the question here, but it was late and my brain has already gone to bed…funny typos in my question.
