Open GL question - for older computers with slower cards :)

Hi

I am sure this must have been asked before in various iterations, but I do have a specific question regarding this:
is there a way to viably make a version of Blender after 2.76 to run while using an older OpenGL version than 2.1? Because, technically, one can use the dll for OPGL2.1, but the program still won’t run that well…

Which is a shame, because version 2.76 of Blender still had issues with larger groups being subtracted using Boolean operations

Anyway, sorry for the topic being about so old a version of Blender, but I plan to move to another city and I have to know if some (possibly) slower computer will run Blender ok!

short answer, no.

long answer, probably no.

most remotely modern computers meet the ogl 3.3 (or whatever) standard. any computer that doesnt would be too slow to use anyway.

Ok, thanks!
