I have just moved across to linux and have been finishing off an animation.
but when I went to render it blender came up with the error “Open Movie”
has anyone had this problem and ho did you fix it??

linux RH 7.3
don’t worry about it …with a bit of searching skills I have comup with the answer
from the old blender3d.com saving tut
"The last thing to check is that there are no spaces in the Pics textbutton. If there are spaces Blender will generate an error: ‘ERROR: Open Movie’ and your animation will not be saved. Blender will also generate this error if the specified path doesn’t exist. "
This solved my problem
