THANK GOD somebody did that! To have MICROSOFT in control of AI would have been unthinkable! Thanks for posting it, Deep.
At the least, the FOSS community these days is a lot faster in terms of creating open alternatives that are actually usable for those who are not programming geeks (as opposed to early Linux and the expectation to type terminal commands for basic tasks).
Hopefully this is by a team that actually values an honest pursuit of knowledge, as there are some people who now think ChatGPT itself is meant to first and foremost be a 1984-style propaganda machine, or big brother taking over your PC.
