I have made an opensource screen saver for the Linux - K Desktop Environment (KDE) :D.

The contest is one or all of the following:

  1. Make a panorama render of things in the ocean/sea off in the distance. Like caves, reef, sea monsters etc
  2. Make low polygon of things in the ocean/sea close. Like treasure, ship wrecks.

Winners will be named and credited for their work. More then likely it will be used in the project.

Please reply as to whether you are going to participate or have any suggestions.

A bit late and OT, but I’m curious what goes into making a screen saver.

For my needs, it would need to be cross platform to fit on my 2 synergy computers.
