OpenGL preview rendering for a camera

Hi,
I recently discovered the opengl preview rendering in blender (I should really try out more buttons :)). I mean the rightmost button in the 3D Window header (same icon as the Scene button of a buttons window) which will render out the current animation sequence when ctrl-clicked.
But this always seems to render out the whole viewport. Is there a way to get the active camera’s viewport as output? I.e. as a fast pre-viz kind of output instead of rendering in a very low quality or small resolution?
