OpenGL Shader Designer 2.0

The OpenGL Shader Designer is an IDE for developing fragment and vertex shaders in glsl ( the OpenGL shading language). It has all the features you’d expect from a shader development enviroment and focuses on a simple yet powerfull GUI. The current version is 1.3, and there won’t be any major updates before we release 2.0.

how is it better than ati’s rendermonkey [which does hlsl as well] or nvidia’s fx composer [which also does hlsl, I don’t remember if it does glsl, and it probably does Cg]?
