opinion of sculpt tool blender needs

in my opinion i think that blender needs some kind of knife sculpt tool where you can smoothly or rigidly slice a model into parts (still keeping the model together in edit mode of course)
it just came to mind when i was thinking about the cut hair feature in particles i mean lots of real models are made by a bunch of knives, i’m not sure if the “scrape” feature would fit this category of being a knife, i just thought it would be a useful neat feature
