Ordering the dope sheet.

I’m playing about with my first animation where there is quite a lot (quite a lot for me) going on.

There are several different objects that move or change properties at the same time, but the dope sheet has these objects placed all over. They’re obviously ordered by name, but I don’t want to re-name objects that are close to or interact with each other, because later the interaction order changes.

So, is it possible to order (drag/drop) the channels in the dope sheet?


Select the one you want to move and use the Page Up and Page Down button to navigate. Double click to rename.

Hi tclancey, my advice would be to use the “show selected” toggle in the toolbar.
