Lucas said recently that he has no intention of ever putting the original theatrical versions of Star Wars, TESB, and ROTJ on DVD. It is well known he is filming new material during EPs 1, 2 and 3 to put into his Extra Special Editions sometime in 2005 or 2006.
I for one don’t care if he want to sell the Special Editions as long as he makes the originals available as well.
Anyway, there’s a petition and a site, and I hope a few people feel the same as me - The originals are classics that should not be forgotten.
