:superhero: ORIGINAL SUPERHERO MOVIE — LOOKING FOR COLLABORATORS :clapper_board:

Hello everyone!

I’m working on a new, completely original superhero movie/universe and I’m looking to build a small team of 4–5 people who genuinely enjoy animation and storytelling.

:milky_way: About the Project

The goal is to create an original superhero universe with:

  • :superhero: Original heroes

  • :angry_face_with_horns: Original villains

  • :globe_showing_europe_africa: An original world

  • :high_voltage: Unique powers and stories

  • :clapper_board: Animated short films and eventually bigger movies

I’m inspired by the idea of a large connected superhero universe, but this project is not connected to Marvel or any other existing franchise. Everything will be original.

I’m especially interested in finding:

:artist_palette: 3D Artist / Character Artist
:clapper_board: Animator
:sparkles: VFX Artist
:scissors: Video Editor
:writing_hand: Writer / Story Artist

You don’t have to be a professional. Beginners and students who are serious about learning and creating are welcome.

Current budget: ₹0.

This is currently a voluntary passion project, so I cannot offer a salary or guaranteed payment.

I’m looking for people who want to create something together, build experience, and have their work properly credited.

If the project eventually earns money, any future payment, ownership, or other arrangements will be discussed clearly with the team beforehand rather than making promises now.

I don’t expect anyone to trust me immediately, and I won’t blindly trust someone I’ve just met online either.

My plan is:

Talk → Get to know each other → See previous work → Small test project → Work together → Build trust → Main team

Nobody will be expected to give passwords, private information, or account access.

I’m also happy to start with a small test scene before deciding who becomes part of the core team.

I’m the person creating the main concept and directing the project.

I’m still learning animation, so I’m not claiming to be an expert. I’m looking for people who can bring their own skills and ideas to the project while we learn and improve together.

  • Willing to communicate

  • Serious about finishing projects

I’m going to tell you the same thing I tell all of these- and just to be clear, you are one of thousands of people who have an idea for a massive animated project, no budget, and you yourself are “still learning”- everyone has ideas.

Everyone on this site has big ideas for things they would like to do. Ideas are worthless in isolation. If you want people to care about your ideas, you need to have something more than ideas.

Walk onto a film set sometime and ask how many people there have an idea for a movie- every hand, from the grips to catering to the guy taking out the trash- will go up. Then look around and count how many people are working on their idea for a movie- the answer is 1 out of hundreds, assuming the director happens to be there, otherwise it is 0.

If you were an animation expert, you could offer ideas + mentoring. If you were well connected, you could offer ideas + networking. If you’re neither, you offer ideas + budget.

If you can’t afford to pay people and you don’t have industry connections, the only remaining option is to become an expert at something and offer mentoring alongside ideas. “Still learning animation”? Welcome to the crowd of guys taking out the trash on film sets
