Orthographic view is not orthographic??

Hello,

I am trying to make technical drawings of 3D objects with Blender. I have the camera rendering in orthographic view. However, the image is not rendering correctly.

As you can see from the image:

the front face of the box is much shorter than the rear face. They should appear the same length, though offset a bit, because this is a cuboidal object. Please help!

thank you,
jmil

It’s exactly the same, check it yourself with a ruler. See wikipedia on the Ponzo illusion, though this is actually a little different - because your eye expects the rear face to appear shorter when the orthographic view means it isn’t, it looks oddly large as a result.
