OSX Crash When Rendering from the Command Line

Hello,

I am trying to use bash on an OSX box to script render batches. The problem I’m having is that after a variable number of frames are rendered, the program suddenly crashes with a seg fault.

Here is OSX’s crashlog:

also:

if i just load the project into a normal session of blender (ie: with the gui and everything) and click render animation, everything works fine.

And I get a similar error when I try to use the netrenderer. The slave crashes with this error
