outline - curve

how i make an outline from curve?
let’s say… make single curve for house plan and then make it becomes an outline (wall - 15 cm) ?

thx

If I understood this right, you would like to make something like construction plans for the house? Blender is more of a modelling tool where your walls will appear like planes and not like lines. It can be done but in my opinion it would be easier to do it in 2d sketching tools, like autoCAD or similar free versions.

Sorry, maybe it is not what you ment, try explaining it better

For a wall you could use a cube then size it in N-key to have to right tickness of wall ect…
or make a special Script to make wall as you wish - but may be for the time being this is too much advance for you.

Salutations

this is what i mean,
i have made a curve like curve A and then i want to edit that curve becomes like curve B ? with constantly width (lets say 15 cm or any).

In Edit mode select all, Shft-D and Enter. Then Alt-S and scale the duplicates bigger or smaller. You’ll have to fix some of the corners as walls on the centerline won’t scale exactly the same as those on the outsides.

Or you can just extrude the edges (hotkey E) and scale it (hotkey S) and input a numerical value after scaling - I guess since this is a floor plan from the Top view .The exact value of your numerical input depends on your resolution to the default grid since Blender does not have any set measures installed . If your started your floor plan after deleting the default cube you should input .15 if you take the standard cube to be 2 Blender units and a Blender unit as equal to 1 meter .
And by the way you probably shouldn’t be using curves to to layout floor plans - you will wind up with a lot of vertices you don’t need . If you aren’t importing from SVG or CAD formats it’s better to just use the Ctrl -LMB technique to add the required verts to define corners etc…

many things in my jobs (modeling in interior & architecture) use double curves like this… example photo frames (if they exactly same size x n y, i could scaled them), door/window jambs, table frames, edge of swimming pool, etc…

btw thx for the tips…
Note: i’v found in other software can make it instant, they called it ‘outline tool’.
i thougth maybe blender has one too?
