Output to a texture?

It’s probably going to be one of those dependency loop matters but is it possible to output to a texture from the compositor? I’m looking to be able to input green screen footage into the node editor, key it out and then add these elements to my scene as planes. Imagine a scene with a geometry castle wall and I want to add green screen actors standing guard.

I know that I can just pre key them as sequences but I’m looking for a good workflow.

I would say that pre-keying IS the good workflow. Just have a “keying.blend” file where you open all your footage and export as alpha image sequences you can use later. Don’t make it harder than it is :slight_smile:

Yeah I already have that just thought for the sake of saving hard drive space. I thought it might have been something they came up against during TOS but alas no.
