P-Active 1910A (Cintiq Alternative)

Has anyone tried P-Active “Cintiq” with Blender?

I’m interested in Cintiqs, but they’re too expensive.

I am a bit skeptic about that one. On one of the pictures you see a battery, so i gues that is for the pen.

I heard it works fine with zbrush, and photoshop.
The battery last longer than most, from the reviews I’ve read.
Just a bit hesitant about buying, if it doesn’t work with Blender.
Maybe, I’ll ask them directly.

Hi!
I’ve just visited this forum. Happy to get acquainted with you. Thanks!

Once upon a time long, long ago I bought an “off brand” tablet. It was half the price of a Wacom and I figured I got a great deal. It worked great for about 15 minutes at a time but on the 16th minute it would stop responding…

I had to plug and unplug it all the time to keep it working. You can imagine what a pain that was.

Then they stopped making drivers for it so I was stuck with Windows 2000 if I wanted to use it. They had no modern Linux drivers to speak of and the web site was in very basic “engrish”, so of course they ignored emails and my requests to help fix it.

At the end of the day I bought a smaller Wacom for more money and count myself smarter for the experience. Wacom is the leader for a very good reason, they are the absolute best! Work hard, save up and pay the money for a Wacom.
