I’ve been using Blender for a while now, and am fairly comfortable with it, but I can’t seem to get panoramic rendering in versions of Blender past 2.37a.
After enabling panoramic rendering and confirming that xparts > 1, I don’t get a panoramic render. I just get a standard image. Is there something special I need to do?
I noticed something interesting. When panoramic rendering is enabled, it rendors from side-to-side based on my X-parts/Y-parts selection.
Is it a platform bug? I haven’t tested it under Linux, only Windoze.
as near as i can tell, the XY thing is just to chunk up the rendering process so you dont hog memory, and can render a much larger picture overall. The only time i had to use XY was when rendering ED.
