Introducing the “Paranoid Ostrich”!
I created this character in order to better understand the hair systems in blender. I’ve always been very interested in them, but have always had a difficult time getting them to do what I want them to do. I’m pretty pleased with the amount of control I was able to get on this character! He ended up a bit mangy, but I think that helps him look more like an ostrich!
Ultimately, there are 4 different hair systems on him, and the rest of the texturing was done in substance painter.
Below you will find some mid - development renders. I always find it interesting when other people share their progress shots, so I figure somebody else might find mine interesting as well!
