parent vertex group to bone

Hello.
I am looking for a tutorial that will help me parent the vertex groups of my model to their assigned bones.
My model is semi-humanoid/robotic so all i need it to do is rotate the vertex groups for posing ans the such.
I already have all my vertex groups set up and my armature works fine but i can find a way to tell blender (2.67) to perant Vertex group “leg.R” to bone “leg.R”

please help asap as i kinda want to get on to texturing my model.

Did you go through normal process of parenting the mesh to the Armature? When you do that, all vertex groups are created automatically. Or are you trying to do this manually?
