Parenting objects to rigged armature help

I have modeled an character, rigged it, and weight painted it. It moves fine. However the eyes, which are separate obejcts do not follow the movement of the in pose mode. they follow fine when i move the armature in object mode but not in pose mode for some reason… all I did was parent the eyes to the model. also tried parenting them to the armature but same deal.

Please help me with this, i need this done by tomorow.

Have you tried parenting the eyes to a bone (or bones) in your armature?

I had the same problem, I just weight painted my objects to be fully under control of the bone I was trying to parent them to and it worked fine.

Thanks batFINGER, i just parented them to bones on the armature and now it works fine. :slight_smile:

Consider giving them their own bones parented to the head bone in your armature so you can set up a trackto constraint towards an eye target.
