I’m working on this character, I have the full body modeled now, and I wanna use static particals to make his hair. How can I only make the static particals on certian parts of one object?

I’m working on this character, I have the full body modeled now, and I wanna use static particals to make his hair. How can I only make the static particals on certian parts of one object?

Use either vertex (or is it weight?) painting to make everywhere but where you want hair 0 so its length is 0. Or duplicate the parts of the mesh you want to have fur, press P to seperate the mesh, and apply the particles to that new object.

Ok, this is a hair off-topic (pun intended
), but are those images from the Handbook of the Marvel Universe series? They look familiar. I loved those books and I still have a bunch of them in storage.
I have no clue what the ref is from… lol.
