particle hair on character head wont follow pose changes

Not certain what the issue is. The particle hair mesh created for the model wont follow the rig. I have the hair mesh inside of deformation cage. And when I move the character around the hair, beard, eyebrows, eyelashes stay fixed in space.

I can’t find any tut’s discussing how particle hair is applied to an animated mesh.

And advice or suggestions, shoot.

Is the Armature modifier below the particle modifier ? If so try moving it above.
