Hi there, I have been testing out some particle hair and am having an issue with rendering.
In the preview render the hair is fine and as I have styled it in the editor, but when I use cycles to render it out on the camera the hair messes up and goes in different directions… Here’s a picture…
It is clearly something I am doing wrong, I could not find any other topics with this problem.
Noone got any ideas on this?
The values of your particle system would tell us more.
Have you applied rotation/scale?
Have you tried an other version of blender? What version are you using?
What happens, if you render the scene with blender internal or convert the particle system?
Are your faces normalised?
Have you something, like the subdivide surface modifier, that does something diffrent for view port and render?
