Particle system question


I am a user of both C4d and Blender. Recently, I have been getting to know Blender on a deeper level. I love the similarities of these two softwares. I was exploring the rigid body sims in Blender and was wondering if it is capable of doing something. I did this in C4d. There are a bunch of Rigid Body objects (cubes). As an effector passes over them, it triggers the dynamics on the separate objects. So the radius of the effector dictates the start time of each individual object.
