Hi,
Version: 2.4.9b
System: Linux Ubuntu
I’m using blender to create an intro or trailer for my browser game so I’m not a prefessional neither do I plan to become one.
My scene does include a lot of particle systems (explosions, fire, Ion-gun fire, boids, …) So when I bake the systems two kinds keep destroying each other. If I bake the explosion first and then the boids the explosion’s particles don’t die in the render while they were just fine before I baked the shoots. The same is true if I bake the shoots first but then the shoot’s particles don’t die.
I have two units firing at each other:
A has a boids particle system (drones) which causes a Reactor PS on a sphere around B to emit the shoots (red lines).
This is happening at two locations in a similar way.
Sometimes baking a different PS repairs the undieing particles for one or two others but never for every PS. I tryed different orders I deleted all the bphys files and did the baking from scratch with no other result.
