Particles; Die on hit.

Hi guys!
I am making a little snowglobe for christmas! I can’t wait!

But I added this morning a particle system, and it looks great.

The problem is that ‘Die on hit’ doesnt work.
The particles are going trough my house and all the other meshes.

What’s the problem?
Is there something I forgot or is the particle system failing?

Please help me out!

Are they closed meshes? Did you set the objects to an obstacle in the physics settings? Other than that, I have no idea.

Oh… I didn’t set the object to an obstacle… How to do that? :o

Sorry, not obstacle. Set it to “Collision” in the physics tab. Then in the panel that pops up, check the “Kill particles” box. Do you want your particles to disappear completely? Or do you just want them to bounce off your meshes?

Also if you set your particle system to show dead particles you find that they can build up on top of a collision surface after they die on hit.

Thanks! But I want to disapear them completely.
Now they are just on my mesh
How to disapear them?

Alright! that’s the problem!

Thanks both of you guys! <3
