particles following path

I am trying to get a particle system to follow a curve that describe a looping.
My object is a cone that has to follow the path normaly ( the point of the cone is indicating the direction).
If I turn on the Vect button in the particles display, my cone is flipped at after about 90° and again at 270.
is there any option that I mess?
Or is there another way to do this?

Maybe you can make a copy with shift-D, make it the particle emiiter and parent it to the object that follows the path…

Unparent the two. Ctrl-A on both the Path and then the Cone, then use Shft-Ctrl-P to parent the cone to the path. Then select the Cone only and do Alt-O.
