Particles looking abnormal

I continued making my fire shooting robot today, added subsurfing, hdr and such but when I started to render a video of it, I noticed that the fire which it shoots looks just like colored balls, they are missing the texture which makes them look like fire. I even tried rebaking the particles but it didn’t work.

I have also had this same problem before in another model and I couldn’t find any other way to fix it than making the fire again. Any ideas?
