Particles with Cube-Objects

I have a big problem with Particle-systems: If I put in the Rendersettings the Halo to Object and select my cube (in my scene the cubes falling on a plane), than the cubes roll like balls over the plane!? Is it possible to change that? So that the cubes move like cubes about the plane?

If you want cubes to behave like real cubes then you’ll have to use the physics simulation in the game engine.
