I am using 2.49. When making a movement i need to paste that movement reverse so that movement will be smooth. problem is i can’t do it. I don’t see that button in the action editor. I do see the copies keyframes and paste buttons but not the paste flipped button
Please a little step by step
I assume you are working with posing an armature, and not just keyframing loc/rot/scale of an object. If so, the paste flipped pose button is in the 3d window. If your bones are named with .r & .l or _r & _l and you select bones on left side of character, copy the pose and paste flipped pose you get the opposite pose on the right side. If you’re working on posing the spine, copy pose and paste flipped pose will reverse the pose, say the character is leaning to the left, copy pose & paste flipped pose and the character is now leaning to the right…
I see the buttons now I use copy button then move to the middle of animation and use paste flipped button, model in 3d view shows the correct pose but how do i get that flipped pasted into action window? Just so you know i am not using naming conventions, just using default like Bone, Bone 1, etc Not sure if that makes a difference
what i still can’t do though i have tried a few times is to make half of the actions then copy those first half and paste them flipped in the action window
I don’t know of anyway to copy a series of keyframes and paste the flipped keyframes. The only way I know of doing it is one pose at a time. Copy pose on frame 1, paste flipped pose on frame 10, copy pose on frame 2, paste flipped pose on frame 11, etc, etc…

Edit: BTW, if you could copy a whole set of keyframes, and paste flipped keyframes, then there would be a button for that in the action editor, like there is in the 3d view…
