We have received the feedback that it is an issue that old keys stay selected when keyframing something.
- It makes it hard to move the keys you just created
- It is inconsistent with the rest of Blender, where e.g. creating objects deselects all other objects.
As such I have started working on a patch to resolve that issue.
Since this changes how Blender behaves, we need more feedback on that.
There is an option to put that behind a user preference, but we try to avoid adding more settings unless needed.

Target Version
This patch is targeting Blender 4.3
The decision was made not to try and rush that into 4.2 which goes into Beta soon.
