Path animation for multiple objects (same path)

I’m trying to find a way, to animate objects following the same [B]path.
But there must be a time interval between the different [B]objects.
And I would like to be able to animate the rotation, location and scale while following the [B]path.

I’ve tried a lot of things, but can’t seem to find the solution,
Can anyone give me some directions?

Here is one way to accomplish that goal. Use an Empty, deploying a group instance, to travel along the path. Then animate the group object/s as you see fit over time. Any change to the group object will be deployed along the path as the Empty travels.

Create as many empties as you need over time. You control when they travel along the path by animating the Fixed Position Offset of the Follow Path constraint.

I don’t know how to do this.
I noticed that the Empty in your scene was nowhere to be found in the outliner.

Could you help me with this step?
