PC and MAC swap files?

Hey guys and gals!

New guy here!

Can two people working on the same blender project share files between a MAC and PC, or do they both have to be using the same OS?

They can share perfectly the same file without any problem. The data is saved in the same way.

In addition

dropbox will help greatly to sync your effort and keep versions of your stages.

You can buy a USB data transfer cable and move it, although USB 1.1 is slow as heck.

Your other option is to move it via ethernet cable although you will need a crossover ethernet cable. This is probably the way to go if you don’t have a spare router sitting around. Just turn sharing on between the two systems and drag and drop.

The two computers won’t be in the same house, but thanks for the advice. This will prove very useful once I get my new editing bay set up!
