Peace Keeper. Object in disguise. WC entry.

Hi all, these are some more renders of my weekend challenge entry for Object in disguise.

It’s called a Peace Keeper. The character is a Blender model I made at the beginning of the year for a 3d comp, he just seemed to fit right in.

All modeling and rendering done with Blender. Small amount of post-production with PS5.

I like the materials, the mechanics, the abstraction, and those empty shells. Good work.

Way cool, but I’d turn down the spec a hair on the dude. The texture on the shells is awesome.

I dont know why i bothered submitting my entry this week.

I dont get how it fits the theme though, no offense.

i alwasy thought a weekend challenge must be made entirly on the weekend, i didn’t realise you could use old models. perhaps i’m wrong

Enos, I had the mad concept of the thing of peace being disguised as a thing of war. Therefore I called the gun a Peacekeeper, except it’s a bit savage for peace. It’s just how I interpretted the theme. No offence taken by the way. :slight_smile:

No I think you’re quite right. I have stated in the WC thread, that the character was made before, so it may be classed as open. It’s cool if so, I’ve not done an open piece before. Even if I can’t enter it, I’m happy with how it turned out. Will maybe do a scene for him too at some point.
