Blender limits the number of materials per object to 16 and I have, in the past been able to import obj files that properly mapped and applied more than 16 materials. The materials import, but aren’t assigned. I can think of a few potential workarounds, but the simplest solution seems to be to get the old version of Blender the original OBJIO script worked with, which did properly map 20+ materials to an object. Can’t remember which one it is. Help!!!
