Hi everybody!
Here is my first Cycles render (500 samples): a forest scene with orchid flowers. It’s look not sufficiently realistic for me, so any suggestions or critics are highly appreciated.
And then, I will send the .blend file to blendswap to share it with everyone!

Nice idea! I think the flower petals look to flat, I assume you are using an alpha mask, but maybe make the planes the images are on more curved. Also the lighting does not match the petals as they are to dark. Maybe pass them through an RGB curve node and brighten them up to match the background.
