Photorealism?

I have also had trouble achieving photorealism in my blends, and so far I’ve tracked the problem to bad lighting, what are some techniques I can use? How do you use HDRI lighting in Blender? Any other thoughts?

You can add the HDRI as an Image in the World and map it to AngleMap.

my advice, use ambient occlusion :smiley: it’s a cheap and fast way to get semi-decent results like that washroom rendering
