Photoshop Blend Mode for every single Render Pass?

hello blenderers,

I’m wondering if there is something like a table to explain, how to set all render passes together in photoshop or other post-processing software, to achieve the actual ‘final’ render.

I found lots of videos, where some were explained but not every single one.

The problem for me is, that I’m working on a render, that uses fog (mist and volumetrics), emission and ao. due to a high required graphical processing power and my not so strong gfx-card, I can’t do the final settings in the compositor, so I need to apply them afterwards in photoshop.

If anyone has a solution for my problem, I’d be suuuper happy. Thank you!

yeah thank you, seen this already, but what’s with volume, mist and AO? do they belong to environment? and even then the blend mode is not clear for me

here’s all the passes I rendered (I know some are obsolete btw)

Mist is used as a mask, AO is artistically multiplied with the combined and volume is added over everything. I still don’t see an application for env.

CG Compositor has an in-depth about render layers in Nuke. PS loses a lot of features when you switch to linear 32-bit.

thank you very much!
