Physically accurate driving game WIP

Hello all, I was just getting bored and decided to use a car physics template from Jreo4. And, I have gauges, drifting, and gear shifting and speed toggling. I was thinking of using this to make a racing simulator. And the only thing I need to do is make AI and new tracks, and possibly new cars.
(my screen recorder is bad)

Controls:

wasd + you know that
shift = clutch
up and down arrows = gears
2 =toggle miles per hour or meters per hour
spacebar = handbrake

HUD, drifting gameplay:

So, if I were to make a future game, what else should I add other than AI?

Also, do you know of any way to add damage without reducing frame rate?

Okay, I have added some damage, but is is pretty crappy for the way it is set up. If anyone else knows how to add damage to a model please let me know.

Here is the download:

If you know another way to add damage you are free to edit the file.

Okay, but please know I have a VERY bad recording system which means bad framerate on the vid, but in the game it has a steady framerate of 60fps but in the video it is around 3 fps:

And in case you dont know how to record a video, just use a pc app named gif cam, it creates gifs in seconds which u can post here

I added the damage by having three no collision meshes, the undamaged mesh, frontally damaged mesh, and completely damaged mesh. And I have planes as sensors at the side of the car and when they collide with the ground or anything, they send a message to the undamaged so it will disappear and add the damaged meshes.
