Hello,
My brother is college studying to be a physicist and would like to start creating some basic physics simulators. I’ve done some blender in the past and was thinking of suggesting the game engine to him. He doesn’t need the physics engine as he will be programming that part, however he needs a good 3D engine that can be easily programmed.
He would like to publish these one the web, so the blender browser plug-in would be ideal (which is unfortunately no longer being developed).
What are your thoughts? I know that the game engine is mainly being used for games, but would it do well as a the 3D front-end to a physics simulator, or would a different 3D engine work better?
Thanks a bunch!
edit: I just found out about Java3D. Do you think think might be better?
