i dident do it as an animation because im trying to create a way to get reandom debri and destruction in still pics like when a car crashes and the parts fly all over or when a building falls down
Looks good. Like a jenga tower.
I wonder if there’s a way to use the results to make stretching steel… like, when the verticle ones seperate it affects another single mesh that stretches like steel over them… then a little more debris and it would be awesome!

I think for glass breaking you could combine two ways:
- particles at top where it’s all broken up
- cracked windows (use knife tool + textures) on the bottom up,
I think you could make an awesome image this way.

I have had great luck with using soft-bodies to simulate the ductile qualities of steel.
I cut the mesh into whatever pieces (or I just combine several object) and then set the simulation so it’s really stiff. This ends up looking like bending metal.
