Picasso Bedroom

Hi all,

Here’s another project, it’s the master bedroom of a commercial archviz job.

I used a HDR map for the environment lighting which lights up the bedroom trough the windows (out of frame on the right)

The customer said the picasso was a bit ‘over the top’ but was happy anyways (i like it though)

Beautiful render. Not sure about the DOF On the chair at the front though.

Looks great! How long did it render?

Looks great-Personally I’d love to have that painting hanging in my house!

i guess this is back when they hadnt invented color yet eh.
but nice composition and modeling. just some color would be nice!

i like the fact that the room it self has no color- it rly brings the painting out

Yes, really some beautiful architecture…

I like the clock, very original

A very beautiful render, however, those bed sheets have got some weird funky groove going on. Looks like it’s crepe paper instead of fabric. So I can only give you 4 stars.

But otherwise it’s top notch

Sweet! I’d love to have that room:). Nice work all around.

I see from the website that luxrender is unbiased (didn’t know that)… how does it compare to indigo render times? (If anyone knows)

tell them it was only a print, not the original.

Hmmm … what about that collection of oversized steely dans on the left side …

Great stuff, Radiance. Luxrender is taking giant steps!!!
Always here if you need anythg.

Verrrryyy impressive! BUT!!! Why use a reflective material on the bed cloth? WaaaaaAAaa!

Picasso’s colors should be a bit stronger.

Man, I keep coming back to this image. I love the lighting. But I really think you should remove that chair in front. Are you planning on updating it?

Hehe , Very nice!

Hell O_O Thats … I’m speechless. This is just fabulous.

that´s nice, especially the complex architecture : Only by taking a closer look u can see that the room goes further and there is a door to the left of the bed. Also the mirror shoes advances to the left (or right) of the window. Maybe it´s all a bit “napy” because of all the naps on the wall and the floor texture / material and also on the vase

I also would be interrested in the render times, but the master seems to sleep…

i’ll add some rugosity to the mulch, some bump… it seems to me too “plasticy”. The image is awesome!
Keep it coming!

Nice job. I’m beginning to get an inferiority complex looking around here…
