Heyo,
Recently I found very nice photo of window from Nepal so I decided to make little study and at the end I made an illustration 
It was mostly sculpted from base meshes.
Everything was made in Blender (sculpt, materials, render).

Amazingly detailed, great work. And the pigeons are a nice touch that gives the scene life.
I’ve noticed that in the reference photo the pigeon is sitting in the warmest coloured part, it looks very comfortable there, and the grey on red is a nice contrast.
