I’m still struggling (between other projects) with me pipes!
I’ve got to grips with Curve modifiers and getting a decent look to a pipe profile, but the segment sizes are out of whack and do what I may I can’t find the solution.
The bezier curves are complicated, therefore they’re tighter between points in some places than others. This has the effect of squashing the segments together. I can’t find any way to even out the points (and mid points) on a curve once I have it set in the required state.
I have kind of worked this out, I think. Although it has completely confused my poor head.
I was trying to model the mesh displaced from the location of the curve. I had to move the mesh to the start point of the curve, then then the segments kind of sorted themselves out. I also had terrible problems with the orientation of the mess and array, I had applied CTRL+A to everything before starting, but still had to model the mesh rotated with the array working in the wrong direction in edit mode. But, it is visually correct in Object mode. So I’ve kind of got there!
