2023-01-14 Utah Teapot (revisited)
Remember the ugly spout? If you don’t, and who could blame you, here it is in all its glory:
Well, I reworked it. I didn’t use a curve this time, just ye olde extrude, scale, rotate, added a subdivision for smoothness, booleaned it with the pot, cleaned up, beveled the join, and this is it now:
Much better. I can still see how to improve the workflow even more, but I didn’t want to redo the pot.

This feels like the real thing now. My partner was especially appreciative of the backdrop. “Old School”!
