I just finished this PIRATES video with Blender 2.8, rendered with the amazing new Eevee raster render engine. Conceived, directed, animated and voiced by me! So I can finally say that after months and months of learning I can shade, light, render, rig, animate, do some particles and rigid body sim all in Blender. I love the learning experience and I will certainly pursue my switch from 3ds Max to Blender along Houdini and Zbrush. I used stock 3D models (just inflated the head a bit for a more cartoony style) and added a few props of my own. I also used stock music. I used rigify for the rigs. Used cycle a bit to render an animated texture (fingerprints accumulating on the coins).
The video explain an important feature lacking in many crypto currency (another of my passion): privacy! And presents a relatively new crypto currency Pirate Chain (ARRR).
Note: my post has been flagged as inapropriate and I don’t understand why? Is it because the word crypto currency appeared in it??? I made this video entirely myself in blender so why would it be flagged just because the subject is a crypto currency? I tried to edit it to be as subjective as possible.
