Pivot/Circle

I have two things to ask, and since I dont have much time right now…
One is how to move the pivit, center, of the mesh only.

I would like to rotate around the DIRECT center. Not the one they give me.

I could just rotate around the curser though… but thats no fun

and another thing is that when I enable the surrounding verticis button, where you can edit one vertici and the ones around it in that circle move relative to it too, I can enlarge or scale down the circle with + or -

Its kinda getting me annoyed. I have the latest version blender but hmm

thanks for any comments

To move a mesh center put the cursor where you want it to go and click the ‘Center Cursor’ button in the edit panel.

and another thing is that when I enable the surrounding verticis button, where you can edit one vertici and the ones around it in that circle move relative to it too, I can enlarge or scale down the circle with + or -

Is there a question there somewhere?
Proportional edit hot key is O
Middle mouse wheel will enlarge/shrink the field.
Type O again to turn proportional edit off.
