Pixar box modelling ?

Has anyone ever passed by how Pixar go about box modelling character creation process ? I did find a small explanation that they use edge creasing a lot but this might have been years ago. I know they have better things to use these days like the render engine Hyperion over the older Renderman, the Presto animation tool. I have read that the artists use different software to model with, including Zbrush but never found a box modelling process.

box modelling process is not related to Pixar, it’s just a popular way to model an objekt in a 3d software.
