Pixar Style Skin Texture/Shader

hey all, how would i go about making a pixar/disney style skin material look. Im sure you all know what i mean…

also, because i want to make an animation (i have all my models, and rigs set up. just have to materialize everything)… which would be better to use for rendering: cycles or the internal renderer?

Pixar realistic human’s skin, cartoon human’s skin, really cartoony human’s skin, talking animal’s skin, or talking object’s skin?

As for which is better to use, it depends on what you mean as “better”. The speed? The look?, The ease of setting up the materials?

Anyway, I’m not that good with materials. For me, I keep them very simple. In most non textured materials I would just use a diffuse and a glossy mixed together. I would do the same for your skin.

As for render engine, I would chose cycles. Why? Because of the simplicity of my materials, it is easier to use and it looks good.

and i suppose youre right i should use cycles too.
